On Mardi Gras, it’s in Jargeau that you can follow the parades of Sa Majesté Carnaval..

For Whitsuntide, the Rhododendron Festival welcomes you to the town of Castelneuvienne.

In spring, it’s all about gastronomy, with andouille from Jargeau and asparagus from Tigy.

In summer, the bridge at Châteauneuf-sur-Loire offers its own light show, so grab your smartphone to get the music.

Jargeau has been celebrating the “Châts” (chestnuts) fair since 1154, so it’s a good time to sample not only chestnuts but also the famous Jargeau andouille sausage.

Saint-Nicolas and the bargemen await you on the quays of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire in early December.
