Who am I?
I grow in the sandy soil of the Loire Valley.
I show my nose in spring and I love the warmth.
I’m harvested with a gouge.
Every year, the SDFI organises a festival to honour me,
on the third weekend in May.
I’m also known as the “blanche de Tigy”.
I’m tender, tasty and bursting with vitamins.
Low in calories, my dietary virtues are unanimously appreciated.
